As part of a strategic expansion and consolidation process to reshape and secure Melbourne based Driver Bus Lines into the 21st century, the Driver family implemented a growth plan on the Mornington Peninsula. Four well regarded Peninsula bus companies were purchased by the Driver family in 2010; Mawson’s Coaches, Old Tyabb Coaches, Coolart Bus and Coach and Balnarring Bus Lines. A depot and workshop was secured in Hastings and all four companies were combined to form a new family operated business… Driver Coastal.

Driver Coastal offers professional and caring school services, charter and tours to small and large communities covering all of the Mornington Peninsula. With a modern fully accredited fleet, courteous, professional drivers and a family with a passion for what we do, Driver Coastal is continuing the tradition of exemplary customer service and dependability, hallmarks of the Driver family’s success since 1931.
